Successful technical support and migration

Throughout our long-standing partnership, we have provided extensive technical support for the operation of all online platforms based on CoreMedia for web and mobile. Our goal has been to ensure that the platforms operate smoothly, thereby delivering the maximum benefit to our customers.

As part of our services, we have successfully conducted a seamless migration of existing technologies, including Java and CoreMedia (starting from version 5). Through this process, we brought the system up to date and made the benefits of modern technologies accessible.

Extension and customization of CoreMedia

We have extensively extended CoreMedia to meet various technical requirements, thereby providing a tailored platform solution. This involved implementing Google AMP, integrating powerful search functionalities, and mapping complex business processes for efficient content management. Furthermore, we optimized caching mechanisms such as CDN, Varnish, and server routing with Apache to enhance the performance of the platforms. Additionally, we developed URL handlers and configured load balancers to ensure optimal resource distribution.

Introduction of new technologies and pioneering work

We were among the first providers to successfully implement and introduce the paid content approach in the publishing industry. Through close collaboration with the editorial team, we ensured focused requirement gathering while simultaneously ensuring the technical stability of the platforms. This pioneering work has provided our customer with a competitive advantage and opened up new sources of revenue.

Rebrushes and content model development

At regular intervals of approximately two years, we conducted rebrushes to renew the platforms based on UI/UX design guidelines. During this process, the focus was not only on aesthetic redesign but also on conceptualizing and implementing a new content model. During this process, we worked closely with the editorial team to consider the requirements for content management. The planning and execution of the projects were carried out using Jira, Confluence, and SCRUM, with our experienced development team taking the lead to ensure a smooth process.

Leadership, stability, and advancement

We took on the responsibility for the stable live operation of the customer’s platforms. By implementing monitoring solutions and fail-safe technologies, we ensured that these platforms are always available and operational. Throughout the entire development process, we ensured successful deployments to guarantee that all changes are seamlessly integrated and the system operates in a stable and reliable manner.

Onboarding, training, and shared content

Another important aspect of our services has been employee onboarding and training. We ensured that the team had the necessary skills and knowledge to independently manage the technologies and fully leverage their potential. Additionally, we introduced shared content within the CoreMedia CMS to ensure efficient utilization and reuse of content. As a result, we were able to optimize many workflows, saving time and resources in the process.
